SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates planning to appear for the SSC GD Constable Exam should familiarize themselves with the SSC GD syllabus and exam pattern. The exam will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), featuring questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English or Hindi (based on the candidate’s choice).

SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who successfully clear the written exam must then appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It is mandatory for all candidates to pass the PET; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

- 1.6 km in 7 minutes (For candidates from the Ladakh region)

- 800 meters in 4 minutes (For candidates from the Ladakh region)

- The first set of times (5 km/1.6 km) applies to candidates other than those from the Ladakh region.

SSC GD Constable Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who pass the written exam must appear for both the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Failure to qualify for the PST will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

SSC GD Medical Test
After successfully qualifying for the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test (PET/PST), candidates will be called for the Medical Examination. The medical standards are outlined in the table below.
